Built for the beautifully complex work of keeping people connected and organized.
Our office window looks out on a bird feeder, and every autumn the same troupe of black-capped chickadees turns up to rob it. One at a time they dart in, grab a single seed, and fly off to tuck it under a flake of bark or into a knot in a branch — then come straight back for another.
A chickadee will hide thousands of seeds this way over a season, each in its own spot, and through the winter it goes back and finds them. The part of its brain that handles that kind of memory actually grows in the fall to keep up. They are tiny, cheerful, resourceful bandits with a remarkable talent for keeping track of what matters.
That felt like the right namesake for a place built to do the same: gather up the details that keep a group of people running, put each one somewhere sensible, and make sure it's still there when you go back for it.
Chickadee Bandit is a hub plus a library of apps. The hub is where your household lives — the people, what's on today, and who can see what. The library holds the apps: a calendar, chores, meal trains, a wall display, and dozens more. You add only the ones your group actually needs.
“Household” is our word for any group with plenty to coordinate: a family, a couple, roommates, two homes co-parenting, a club, a team, an HOA board, a chapter house, a scout troop. If you've ever been the person who keeps the list, this is for you.
