Chickadee Bandit

The chapter, kept by the people passing through it

One space for the exec: recruitment, the roster, the roll, the votes and the handover.

Built for leadership that changes every year

A chapter replaces its whole exec every twelve months, and each officer inherits a spreadsheet, a group chat and whatever the last one remembered. Who met which prospect, who has missed three meetings, which alum answers email: it leaves every May.

A chapter space on Chickadee Bandit keeps that in one place the next exec inherits. Each member keeps their own private household, and the space holds only the chapter's business. The Greek Life starter pack sets it up with the apps you tick.

Recruitment

Prospects move from invited to rushed, bid and pledged, with notes on each person and a secret yes, no or abstain vote that records who voted but never how. The pipeline is visible to adult members only.

Points and attendance

Award points for showing up, service and participation on a live leaderboard that resets each period. Take the roll in seconds and see each member's attendance rate before they drift away.

Officer elections

Nominations, a secret ballot, majority or ranked-choice, and a certified result the whole chapter can read.

Roster and alumni

A member directory with pledge class, role and status, and an alumni roster where each alum keeps their own city, employer and contact details, shown only to the people you would expect.

Dues and house duties

Each billing period lists every member's payment status. Shifts rotate cook nights and house cleaning, and the guest log sends overnight stays to leadership, who can never approve their own guest.

Channels and announcements

Named channels for the exec and each committee, and announcements with an expiry date, so last month's notice is not still at the top.

What it costs, and who it fits

One officer sponsors the space from their household's plan and everyone else joins free. A Family plan ($6/mo) sponsors a space of 8 people and 10 apps; Organization ($30/mo) sponsors three spaces of up to 20 people and 14 apps each. The Community add-on ($30/yr) adds three more spaces to either plan and four more apps in every space, so each committee can have its own; it also works on its own, without a household plan. It does not raise how many people a space holds. That fits an exec board and its committees, or a small club where every member joins. For a whole chapter, a roster space on Organization holds up to 200 members for announcements, attendance and RSVPs, where members see the officers and not each other.

It does not collect dues online, offer payment plans or keep the books, and it does not report to a national headquarters. See the chapter and club software we'd consider, compared by what each is for, or read the guide to running a chapter through recruitment, the year and the handover.
