Chickadee Bandit

For the person who runs the group

Teachers, coaches, troop leaders, board members — the roster is yours; the busywork isn't.

Two shapes of group, one home for both

Some groups are a roster: one organizer and a list of families who don't need to see each other — a classroom, a team, a client list. Others are a community: an HOA, a chapter, a co-op, where members collaborate as peers. Chickadee Bandit runs both from the same account, and the families you invite join free.

Roster spaces — broadcast without the group-chat chaos

In a roster space, members see you and never each other. No reply-all storms, no parents scraping each other's contact info off a group chat, no privacy questions at sign-up. Messages flow between each family and you — that's it.

Create a roster as a Classroom, Team, Clients, or plain Announcement list and it arrives working: announcements, calendar, and the apps that fit — attendance and homework for a classroom, RSVPs for a team — installed on day one. Rosters scale to 30 members on the Family plan, 75 on Group, and 200 on Organization. Coaching a team? See what a coach gets.

Announcements

Post once; every family sees it on their own Today view, calendar, and phone — not buried in a thread.

Attendance

Take the roll in seconds at practice or the meeting, and spot who's been drifting before they're gone. Each family sees only their own record.

A link that fills your roster

Turn on join requests and share one public application link — or print the built-in QR flyer for the open house, the newsletter, or the clubhouse door. Review each application, or add a join code and approve automatically.

RSVPs, polls, surveys & more

Event sign-ups, quick polls, reading logs, homework, medication notes for the school trip — installed per space, only what the group needs.

Community spaces — when members work together

For an HOA board, a Greek chapter, or a club where members genuinely collaborate, a shared space gives everyone a seat: dues and reserve funds, amenity reservations, elections, board minutes, volunteer sign-ups, a member directory. Starter packs for HOAs, Greek life, and clubs set the space up in one click. Running a self-managed HOA? See what an HOA board gets; running a chapter or a club, see what a chapter exec gets.

What it costs

Joining is always free for members — a family only ever pays if they want Chickadee Bandit for their own home. Organizers sponsor spaces from any paid plan, and the Community add-on ($30/yr) adds three more spaces to any plan and four more apps in every space. Don't need a family plan at all? The Community add-on alone lets you organize from a free personal account.
