A driving practice log a parent countersigns

Teen learner's-permit practice log. Record supervised drives with conditions (night, weather, road type), have a parent countersign each entry, and track progress toward the state's required hours — exportable for the DMV.

What Driving Practice Log does

Most states require 40 to 60 supervised hours before a road test, and some of those must be at night. This log records each drive with its conditions, a parent countersigns it, and the app tracks certified hours against the goal.

The record is append-only: a wrong entry is voided and re-logged rather than edited, which is how a log meant for the DMV should behave.

How it works

  • Log supervised drives with night, weather, and road-type conditions.
  • A parent countersigns each entry; only countersigned drives count.
  • Progress toward total and night-hour goals, with defaults of 50 and 10.
  • Append-only: entries are voided, never rewritten.
  • Exportable summary for the DMV.
