A points system for adults, toward goals you set yourself

Reward charts work on adults too, as long as the adult is the one who sets the terms. Decide what you are earning, such as new running shoes or a day with no chores, and what it costs in points. Then earn the points.

Each time you add points, you choose who verifies them. Nobody: you log them yourself and they count right away. One person: only the two of you see the claim, and the points count once they approve it. Anyone: everyone sees it, and the first person to respond decides. A verifier can approve fewer points than you asked for, or more.

Points go toward a goal when you put them there, and a progress bar fills as you do. Every entry is labelled by how it was verified, so points you logged yourself are never shown as verified.

• Log points for anything you did, with a note saying what.
• Choose a verifier each time: nobody, one named person, or the first person to respond.
• A claim sent to one person is seen by the two of you only, and it cannot be edited after it is sent.
• A list of claims waiting for you: approve, change the points, or deny.
• Goals with a cost in points and a progress bar. Put points toward a goal, or take them back.
• A goal is private unless you share it.
• Automations can pay points in, for a streak or habit milestone or a finished task.
• A dashboard badge counts the claims waiting for you.
