A weekly meal planner that knows who is cooking
Plan the week's meals day by day. Pick from your recipe book, assign who's cooking, and add ingredients directly to your grocery list.
What Family Meals does
Lay the week out one day at a time. Each night gets a recipe from the household's book and a name next to it, so 'what's for dinner' and 'who's making it' are answered before anyone asks.
Because the planner reads from the recipe book and writes to the grocery list, the shopping trip follows from the plan rather than from memory.

Works well with
Guides that use Family Meals
- A realistic weekly family planning routine that takes 20 minutes — A Sunday-evening routine for two adults: check the calendar, plan dinners, reset the chore week, settle the rides. Twenty minutes, four steps, once a week.
- How to coordinate school, sports, meals, and pickups in one family calendar — Merge Google, Apple and Outlook calendars, let carpool and activity apps publish their own events, and put dinner on the same day view. One calendar, all week.
