Make the mental load visible, then rebalance it

A fair-play tracker for couples: name the invisible domains someone has to own — planning meals, remembering birthdays, booking checkups — see who holds what, and rebalance together.

What Mental Load does

Chore apps track who did the task. This tracks who owns the job: conception, planning, and execution of remembering the dentist, planning the meals, staying on top of the bills. Based on the Fair Play model.

A live bar shows the balance between you. Reassign a domain in one tap, and log what you agreed at each rebalance check-in.

The mental load, made visible

One partner names the jobs nobody sees; the other takes two whole jobs, planning included, and the balance changes on both phones.

How it works

  • Domain cards, each a whole job rather than a task.
  • A live balance of who holds what.
  • One-tap reassignment.
  • Rebalance check-ins with a log of what shifted.
  • Private to the two partners. Adults only.

Couples apps are for two adults in the household and are never visible to children.
