A babysitting co-op ledger where credit needs both parents to agree
A points ledger for a babysitting-exchange co-op — log the hours you sat for another household, have them confirm it, and track who owes whom. Post coverage requests other members can claim.
What Babysitting Co-op Ledger does
A babysitting co-op runs on trust and a ledger. This is the ledger. When you sit for another household you log the hours, the other parent confirms them, and only then does the credit count.
Balances are computed from confirmed entries alone, so nobody can mint credit for themselves. A coverage board lets members post a request for a sitter and lets one other member claim it, with no double-booking.
How it works
- Hours ledger: the sitter logs the sitting, the other parent confirms.
- Credit counts only after both parties confirm.
- Each member sees their own running balance and the entries they are party to.
- Coverage board for posting and claiming sitter requests.
- One sitter per request, enforced by the server.
Who it's for
Neighborhood and school-parent co-ops that have outgrown the shared spreadsheet. Adults only.

Guides that use Babysitting Co-op Ledger
