A catalog of the things you collect, each one photographed on its own

Anything you keep more than a few of is a collection: teddy bears, power tools, vinyl, model trains. Start one for each. Every item gets a name, notes, the date you acquired it, photos, tags, and the places it is stored.

A photo taken on the kitchen table shows the table. Collections can remove the background, so each picture shows the item alone and a page of forty bears looks like a catalog. The photo as taken is always kept, and each photo has a switch back to it.

Tags belong to one collection, because "Steiff" means nothing among the power tools. Places such as Garage or Bin 1 are shared by all of them, and each place has a page listing everything stored there.

• The original photo is always kept. Switch any photo back to it.
• Places shared across collections, with a page per place.
• Filter a collection by tag and place.
• Search by name, note, tag, place or the year you acquired it, in one collection or across all of them.
• Everyone in the household can add. You can change what you added, and adults can change anything.

A household has a monthly allowance of background removals. When it is used up, new photos are kept as taken until the next month.
