A decluttering app for deciding what to let go
Household decluttering decisions. Add items, gather votes and reasons, choose keep, let go, or Purge-atory, then record final actions and year-end donation reports.
What Let Go does
Most decluttering stalls at the decision. This app makes the decision a household vote: anyone adds an item, everyone votes and says why, and the item lands in keep, let go, or Purge-atory, a six-month holding pen for the undecided.
Let-go items sit in a queue until an adult records what actually happened: donated, sold, recycled, discarded, given away. Donated items can be marked reportable and exported at year end.
How it works
- Anyone can add an item with context: used recently, broken, worth repairing, estimated value.
- Household votes with reasons.
- Three buckets: keep, let go, Purge-atory with a re-evaluation date.
- Record the follow-through action for each let-go item.
- Year-end donation report export.
