A dead man's switch for your household
A dead-man's switch for peace of mind: check in on your schedule, and if you go silent past your chosen interval, the people you designate get an alert with your message. Free to install; the hub keeps watch and sends the alerts while your plan is active.
What Check-In Switch does
You pick an interval and check in. If you go silent past it, the hub sends the people you designated an alert with the message you wrote in advance. That is the whole idea, and nothing else in the family-app category does it.
It pairs naturally with the In Case of Emergency binder: the switch is how someone learns they need the binder.
How it works
- Check in on the schedule you choose.
- Designate who is alerted and write the message they receive.
- The alert fires only after the interval you set passes with no check-in.
- Contacts can come from the household Contacts app.
Who it's for
People who live alone, travel alone, or are the single point of failure for someone else.
