A custody schedule both parents countersign
Shared custody coordination for split households — per-child standing schedules that take effect only when both parents countersign once both have joined (one set up before the other parent joins is in force on one signature and recorded that way), countersigned one-off swaps, and handoff notes. Every agreed version is kept; custody days are worked out on the server from what was agreed and flow to the household Calendar and Today view, so kids and both parents always know where they are. Runs in a co-parenting shared space.
What Co-Parenting does
This is the app at the center of a co-parenting space. Once both parents have joined, each child's standing schedule changes only when both countersign it, and every agreed version is kept. A schedule set up before the other parent joins is in force on one signature and recorded that way.
One-off swaps go through the same countersign. Custody days are computed on the server from what was agreed and flow to the household calendar and Today view, so the kids and both parents always know where they are.

Guides that use Co-Parenting
- What information should co-parents share, and what should remain private? — A practical line between two homes: share the custody schedule, kids' expenses, records, and handoff notes. Keep each home's calendar and finances private.
- 2-2-3, 2-2-5-5, alternating weeks: the custody schedules, explained — What 2-2-3, 2-2-5-5, 3-4-4-3, alternating weeks and every other weekend actually mean, what each costs in hand-overs, and which suits which age.
- Splitting the kids' expenses between two households without fighting — Agree the categories and the percentages once, log costs with receipts, settle on a schedule, and keep each parent's own finances out of it.
