Shared documents with adult-only folders
Store and share documents — receipts, medical records, school papers, insurance policies. Organise into folders with adult-only or organization-wide visibility.
What Documents does
The household's paperwork in one place: upload PDFs, images, Word, Excel, and text files, organize them into folders, and preview PDFs and images without downloading.
Each folder is visible to everyone or to adults only. Other apps, Warranty Vault and Home Maintenance among them, store their attachments here too.
How it works
- PDF, image, Word, Excel, and text uploads.
- Inline preview for images and PDFs.
- Folders with per-folder visibility: everyone or adults only.
- Up to 10 MB per file and 500 MB total.

Guides that use Documents
- How siblings can coordinate care for an aging parent without a group text — Set up a care circle across households: a visit rotation, an observation log, medication nudges, a daily I'm-OK check, and the paperwork, in one place.
- Seven questions to ask any family app before you put your household in it — Seven questions for judging a family organizer's privacy: who pays, where data sits, what apps read, what kids see, can you leave. Then a ten-minute setup.
- Making your household survivable if something happens to you — The practical handover: what another adult would need to run your house, where to keep it, and how someone would find out they need it in the first place.
- How to run a youth team's season without a group chat — A youth season as a system: one team list, the schedule on every family's calendar, RSVPs by a deadline, the roll, and no family sees another's number.
- Keeping a class's parents informed without a group chat or your own number — A class as a system: one list of families, dates on each family's calendar, notices that expire, replies that reach only you, and no parent sees another.
- Keeping your clients informed when they must never see each other — For a tutor, trainer, music teacher or counsellor: one list of clients, your dates on their calendars, notices that expire, and no client sees another.

Documents is one of the apps in the Chickadee Bandit library. Every household starts nearly empty and installs only what it uses; there is no per-app charge. Your data lives in your household's own private, encrypted database, with no ads and no data selling. Browse the Everyday apps or read the source on GitHub.
